 Truelander Dreams host various contest for veterans.  On occasion the contest maybe for the spouse or dependant of a veteran.  You can be currently enlisted, separated, disabled, retired, no matter the branch, active, reserves, national guard, and coast guard.  Only requirement is that you can provide proof of status/service. 

 

The contests/scholarships/awards/grants sponsored by Truelander Dreams are geared towards an artistic touch or perception.  Depending on the nature of the particular contest/scholarship/award/grant will dictate which format will be used to determine a winner.

 

The formats used are but, in no way limited to the following:

  

Writing

Essay

Short Story

Comic/Cartoon

Photo

Video

 

The content for each will be determined for that event.  It may be themed towards something personal, patriotic, family, in uniform…  Or it may be geared towards a fictitious happening, there may be key features which need to be included.  Each event will have its own rules and guidelines, in addition to the official ones.  Strict adherence to the rules set for that particular event is key.

 

The prizes for these various events are obtained from generous donations from people who greatly appreciate the sacrifice(s) that have been made by past, present, and future veterans. 

 

The purpose of Truelander Dreams is to offer assistance in the accomplishment of a dream, through financial prizes/awards/grants.  If you were looking at a school that is not an accredited course, we may be able to assist with a scholarship award.  If you are dreaming to write a story of your experiences, a collection of poems, a children’s book, we may be able to offer financial assistance for you project. 

 

Now for more complex dreams, the final determination will depend on the project.  Opening a veteran run shop, shooting a documentary, or short film, we may be able to offer assistance.

 

Some dreams are bigger, or perhaps are more of a need than a dream.  Buying property, debt consolidation, money to assist with medical expenses.  As Truelander Dreams grows we hope to be able to offer assistance to whatever the need of our veterans may be.

 

Truelander Dreams cannot promise successful completion of your dreams, we do hope to assist.  Though not required we would hope that with the successful completion of your dreams… you would then be able to donate back to Truelander Dreams and assist a fellow veteran achieve a chance at success.

 

All projects that are created with the financial support obtained by winning a contest/scholarship/award/grant from Truelander Dreams need to reflect the contribution by offering recognition to Truelander Dreams.

 

The monetary amounts awarded will vary depending on the event, and the amount of available funds.

 

All decisions of Truelander Dreams are final.
